Central Texas school districts host conference for families of students with disabilities

School districts in Central Texas are collaborating to support families of students with disabilities at the 2025 Destination Life Transition Conference. This event is designed to help families find the next steps for their children as they transition out of the public school system.

The conference will feature engaging presentations, over 80 disability agencies and vendors, information and training sessions, speakers, networking opportunities, exhibitions, and food. Spanish and Deaf/Hard of Hearing interpretation services will also be available.

Communities from Austin ISD, Georgetown ISD, Hutto ISD, Jarrell ISD, Lake Travis ISD, Leander ISD, Liberty Hill ISD, Pflugerville ISD, and Round Rock ISD are invited to attend. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McNeil High School located at 5720 McNeil Dr., Austin TX 78729.
