Manor Independent School District (ISD) has reached a significant milestone by surpassing 10,000 students for the first time in its history. This achievement comes at a time when many school districts across Texas are experiencing declining enrollment, underscoring the dedication of Manor ISD's educators and community partnerships.
"This moment is truly special for Manor ISD," stated Superintendent Dr. Robert Sormani. "Reaching 10,000 scholars is a testament to the hard work of our teachers, staff, and leadership, as well as the trust our families place in us to provide a quality education. We are proud to celebrate this achievement with our entire Manor ISD community."
The district's 10,000th student is Ramiro Rodriguez Nunez, a kindergarten pupil at Presidential Meadows Elementary who enrolled this fall. To commemorate this milestone, Manor ISD plans to honor Ramiro at the February Board meeting. Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Manor ISD attributes its growth to its commitment to academic excellence and innovative programming focused on student success. The district continues investing in initiatives such as career and technical education pathways, early college opportunities, and enhanced safety measures.
As Manor ISD reaches this historic point, it remains committed to serving and inspiring every student while ensuring that growth leads to meaningful opportunities for all.
