The Amazing Acro-Cats, a troupe of trained house cats featured in the Netflix series "Cat People," are set to perform in Austin. These cats, all former orphans, rescues, and strays, offer a unique 90-minute performance that includes various acts such as riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, and balancing on balls. The show concludes with the only all-cat band in the world: Tuna and the Rock Cats. This feline ensemble plays guitar, drums, and piano, joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet, and clarinet.

The tour supports Rock Cats Rescue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cat welfare, rescue, and adoption. Their mission is to save cats "One Click at a Time." The Acro-Cats show emphasizes bonding with cats through positive reinforcement training while also aiding in finding homes for rescued cats. Since 2009, Rock Cats Rescue has successfully found homes for hundreds of cats and kittens.

In addition to their Netflix appearance, the Amazing Acro-Cats have been featured on several national TV shows including "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," Animal Planet’s "Puppy Bowl," CBS News Sunday Morning," PBS Nova's "Cat Tales," and the podcast "This Past Weekend with Theo Von."
