Manor Independent School District's Child Nutrition Department has been recognized for its efforts in providing healthy and innovative meals to students. The department received five Healthy Meals Incentive (HMI) awards from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Action for Healthy Kids. This achievement marks the highest number of awards given to any school district in Texas this year, emphasizing Manor ISD’s dedication to student health and wellness.
The HMI awards are designed to acknowledge school districts nationwide that excel in child nutrition programs. Manor ISD distinguished itself by winning in several categories:
