This month's Third Thursday aims to explore how writers address complex relationships in their work. Jennifer Chang's recent poetry collection "An Authentic Life," Alina Grabowski's debut novel "Women and Children First," and Amanda Eyre Ward's latest work "Lovers and Liars" delve into these themes.

Jennifer Chang has published several works including "The History of Anonymity" and "Some Say the Lark." Her poems have appeared in numerous prestigious publications, and she serves as poetry editor for New England Review while teaching at the University of Texas in Austin.

Alina Grabowski holds degrees from both the University of Pennsylvania and Vanderbilt University. Her debut novel was released this year, adding to her literary accomplishments.

Amanda Eyre Ward is known for her bestselling novels such as "Sleep Toward Heaven" and "How to Be Lost." Her work has been featured widely in media outlets like People Magazine and The New York Times, with some adapted for film and television.

Sarah Renee Beach brings her expertise as an MFA graduate from The New School to her role as moderator. She has previously won Sundress Publication's Chapbook Contest with her poetry chapbook "Impact."

By purchasing books from BookPeople during this event, attendees support local independent businesses while encouraging publishers to continue sending authors there.
