Emmy Award-winning Spanish guitarist Benise is set to celebrate 25 years of his musical journey with a new tour and PBS special in 2025. Known as "The Prince of Spanish Guitar," Benise will launch his "25 Years of Passion!" tour, which will feature a diverse array of musical styles, including Spanish Flamenco, Cuban Salsa, Brazilian Samba, Parisian Waltz, and exotic drumming.
The upcoming tour highlights Benise's Emmy Award-winning show as one of the longest-running Latin-themed theatrical productions globally. Reflecting on his career, Benise stated, “I wanted to push the boundaries of Nuevo Flamenco/Spanish guitar while combining the elements of dance and theater. This show is a celebration of all the shows we’ve done over the last 25 years.”
The two-hour performance promises to be an escape for audiences, incorporating fan favorites from Benise's street performing days alongside rock classics like Led Zeppelin’s "Kashmir" and AC/DC’s "Thunderstruck." The show will also feature Benise's interpretations of classical pieces such as "Ave Maria," "Moonlight Sonata," and Vivaldi’s "Summer" from The Four Seasons.
Benise emphasizes that the show is family-friendly and aims to inspire: “This is a great show for the whole family; I really think we have something for everyone. I hope people will be inspired by our story, by the music, by the production–and have the passion to follow their own dreams.”
