The Moth Project, a duo from New York City, comprises Grammy-nominated producer Peter Kiesewalter and violinist Whitney La Grange from Texas. They invite audiences on a journey exploring the parallels between moths and humans. Their performances feature a large video screen displaying macro photography, slow-motion video, and dynamic motion graphics.

The musical set includes pieces ranging from Bach to Joni Mitchell to KISS, along with original compositions. The themes explored in their show include migration, seduction, death, and transformation. By weaving together science, mythology, and personal stories into their 70-minute performance, they aim to highlight the importance of biodiversity and cultural diversity.

Front Row Center NYC describes the experience as “storytelling lifted to the stars… leaves you with awe-inspiring wonder.”
