Pease Park Conservancy, an organization dedicated to preserving Austin's first public park, is seeking a Finance Manager to join its leadership team. The conservancy aims to enhance and maintain the 84-acre green space for sustainable use, with a focus on supporting historically underserved communities in Austin.

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of Pease Park Conservancy. Responsibilities include managing accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly financial statements, and overseeing the annual audit and tax return process. The position also involves handling payroll functions, administering benefits, and assisting with grant applications.

Candidates should have a degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience, with CPA certification being advantageous. A minimum of three years of accounting or finance experience is required, though five years is preferred. Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, Gusto, and AirTable is necessary; Salesforce experience is desirable.

The Finance Manager will work from the conservancy's offices overlooking Kingsbury Commons in Austin but can also work remotely part-time. The salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $75,000 based on skills and experience. Benefits include medical insurance, a 403b plan with matching contributions, vacation time, sick leave, and paid holidays.
