Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Austin FC has announced that winger Osman Bukari has been included in the Ghana Men’s National Team roster for a pair of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches this month.
According to a November 11 press release attributed to Austin FC, Bukari will join Ghana as it faces Angola and Niger during the weekend of November 15. The 25-year-old has previously represented his home nation at both the 2022 Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in Qatar and the 2023 AFCON.
The release states that Austin FC signed Bukari as a Designated Player over the summer. He participated in nine matches in the latter half of the season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
On the international stage for Ghana, Bukari has played in 17 games, scoring three goals and making two assists.
