West Texas Exiles, a newly formed band, will perform at 8 p.m., followed by Jade Marie Patek at 10 p.m. in an event offering two shows with one ticket.

The West Texas Exiles were brought together by their shared love of music and a desire to leave their hometowns. They are based in Austin and consist of Marco Gutierrez from Dirty River Boys, Daniel Davis, and Colin Gilmore as singers/songwriters. The group is supported by bassist/producer Eric Harrison and drummer Trinidad Leal from Dixie Witch and Honky.

Their sound is influenced by The Flatlanders and Buddy Holly, aiming to revitalize the music scene with a modern take on Texas music. Their style combines rhythmic and lyrical honesty with the vastness of the West Texas sky, capturing the energy of constant change. Their first single "New Moon Foe" was released alongside a tour in May 2022. The second single "Hotel Tomorrow" reflects southwestern Americana's spirit, while the track "Exile" clearly states their intent: they are not just passing through Texas but are seeking new horizons.
