Austin's business community convened at the AT&T Conference Center on April 1st for the annual Infrastructure Summit. The event addressed current and future growth challenges in Central Texas, emphasizing the need for strategic planning to accommodate anticipated expansion.
Keynote speaker Jesús Garza, Interim Austin City Manager, opened the summit with a focus on infrastructure issues including I-35, air service, community resilience, water, energy, light rail, and regional transportation.
The summit was supported by numerous sponsors. HDR served as the Presenting Sponsor. HNTB sponsored the reception while Jacobs provided badges and lanyards. Program sponsors included AECOM, CapMetro, Downtown Austin Alliance, EPCOR, Kinder Morgan Inc., Mott MacDonald, Parsons Corporation, and Southwest Airlines.
