The City of Austin has issued a Request for Applications (RFA) for qualified nonprofit or government providers to offer Bridge Housing services. This initiative aims to support clients of the Downtown Austin Community Court (DACC) Intensive Case Management (ICM) program. The service is designed as a combination of emergency shelter and transitional housing, targeting individuals who need short-term housing and supportive services.
Applicants are expected to have experience in providing temporary housing solutions or working with the target population. Agencies that wish to create new programs or enhance existing ones with Bridge Housing services are encouraged to apply. Referrals will be made directly by DACC ICM staff.
Applications must be submitted by November 18, 2024, at 2 PM Central Time. A non-mandatory pre-offer conference is scheduled for October 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM Central Time.
For those interested in applying, various documents related to the RFA can be downloaded, including forms on the offer sheet, scope of work, program budget and narrative, staff positions and time allocation, certifications and disclosures, solicitation provisions, definitions and instructions, and a social services contract boilerplate.
Questions regarding the RFA can be submitted until November 12, 2024. Inquiries should be directed via email to Edna Staniszewski or by contacting her at the provided phone number.
