Fall has arrived, and Halloween is approaching. Pease Park Conservancy (PPC) encourages volunteers to participate in park activities dressed in park-inspired costumes that allow for easy movement.

Several volunteer opportunities are available this season:

- **Pocket Prairie Workshop:** An official Roots & Wings Festival event on October 20th from 9:00-11:00 am.

- **Fall Fitness Festival Volunteer Shifts:** Scheduled for October 26th with shifts for event setup, help, and closing.

- **Luminarium Volunteer Shifts:** On November 2nd with multiple time slots available.

- **Pease Park Tree Planting:** Set for November 23rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Recurring volunteer opportunities include Riparian Rescue Tuesdays, Weeding Wednesdays, Loving Lamar Thursdays, and Litter Pick-Up Mondays throughout October.

Dr. Curtis Eckerman will lead a moth Bioblitz on October 13th from 7:45-9:45 pm at Pease Park. This event aims to educate participants about local moth species as part of the Texas Pollinator BioBlitz.

Efforts continue to restore connectivity along the Shoal Creek Trail following landslides in 2018 and 2019. PPC, Shoal Creek Conservancy (SCC), and Pemberton Heights Neighborhood Association (PHNA) are working with the City of Austin to address this issue.

The Fall Fitness Festival on October 26th will feature youth and adult fitness classes. Additionally, PPC invites the community to celebrate Latino Conservation Week and Hispanic Heritage Month at Pease Park.

PPC encourages donations via Venmo (@peasepark) or through their website. They also offer a recurring donor program called "Pease Keepers" starting at $10 a month.
