Austin FC is set to face LAFC in a mid-week match at BMO Stadium this Wednesday night. The game will commence at 7:30 p.m. PT/9:30 p.m. CT.

Fans can watch the match in English or Spanish across more than 100 countries for free on Apple TV, and it will also be broadcast nationally on FS1. Additionally, local radio broadcasts will be available in English on iHeart Radio’s Alt 97.5 and in Spanish on Univision’s TUDN Radio Austin (104.3-HD2, KLQB-FM).

Austin FC recently experienced a 2-1 defeat against Toronto FC last Saturday at BMO Field, despite creating several scoring opportunities. Owen Wolff scored a notable goal for Austin during the match. This upcoming game against LAFC marks the first of two matches this week for Austin FC, who previously lost to LAFC 2-0 in August during the Leagues Cup’s Round of 32 and drew 1-1 with them in regular season play on June 19th.

Austin FC will be without three players due to yellow card suspensions as they aim for an important win to boost their postseason prospects.

LAFC is coming off a 4-2 loss to LA Galaxy last Saturday at Dignity Health Sports Park. Mateusz Bogusz scored twice early in the first half before LA Galaxy equalized with two quick goals in the second half. A red card shown to Lewis O’Brien left LAFC with ten men, allowing Galaxy to score twice more and secure victory.

Currently sitting in second place in the Western Conference with a record of 14-7-6, LAFC snapped a four-game streak of scoring one or zero goals despite their recent loss. With one of the best home records in the West—30 points from 14 matches—LAFC presents a formidable challenge for Austin FC.

An Austin victory would not only disrupt LAFC's strong home performance but also build momentum ahead of their Texas derby against Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday night.
