Council Member Alter called the committee meeting to order at 9:55 a.m.

Approval of Minutes
1. Approve the minutes of the Audit and Finance Committee meeting of October 19, 2022. The minutes of the October 19, 2022 Audit and Finance Committee meeting were approved on Council Member Fuentes’s motion, and Council Member Kelly’s second, on a 5-0 vote.
Discussion
2. Cold Weather Shelters and Hot Weather Cooling Centers Audit.
The item was postponed until the December 13, 2022 Audit and Finance Committee meeting without objection.
3. Airport Leases and Community Benefits Special Request report.
The Committee received a presentation from Jacob Perry, Office of the City Auditor.

4. City’s Pension Systems
The Committee received a briefing from Belinda Weaver, Financial Services Department.
5. City Auditor’s Integrity Unit FY2022 Update
The Committee received a briefing from Brian Molloy, Office of the City Auditor.
Future Items
6. Identify items to discuss at future meetings
Cold Weather Shelters and Hot Weather Cooling Centers Audit, to be presented to the Audit and Finance Committee during the December Committee meeting. EMS billing and Office of the Chief Medical Officer items may be presented in the December Committee meeting.
The Austin Water external review to be presented to the Audit and Finance Committee meeting during the January 2023 Committee meeting.
