City of Austin City Council met Nov, 9.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

The City Council of Austin, Texas, convened in a Special Called Meeting at Austin City Hall 301 W. Second Street, Austin, TX and via videoconference. 

Mayor Pro Tem Alter called the Council Meeting to order at 11:59 a.m. Council Alembers HarperMadison and Renteria joined via videoconference. Mayor Adler was off the dais. 

Mayor Pro Tem Alter recessed the meeting to go into Executive Session at 11:59 a.m. 

EXECITIVE SESSION 

The City Council went into Executive Session, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and personnel matters as specifically listed on this agenda and to receive advice from Legal Counsel regarding any other item on this agenda. 

1. Discuss legal and real estate matters related to the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of an interest in real property and improvements for the Housing-focused Encampment Assistance Link (HEAL) initiative and the replacement of the Northbridge shelter (Private consultation with legal counsel - Section 551.071 of the Government Code and Real property -Section 551.072 of the Government Code). Conducted. 

Executive Session ended and Mayor Adler adjourned the Council Meeting at 2:13 p.m. 

The minutes were approved on this the 1st day of December 2022 on Council Member Harper-Madison's motion, Council Member Ellis' second on an 11-0 vote.
