Approval of Minutes
1. Approval of Minutes.
Vice Chair Fuentes moved to approve the minutes of the Health and Human Services Committee meeting on June 3,2021. Seconded by MPT Harper-Madison. Passed on a 3-0 vote with Mayor Adler and Council Member Kitchen off the dais.
Citizen Communication: General
Speakers signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will each be allowed two minutes to address their concerns regarding items not posted on the agenda (limit of 10 speakers).
Two speakers gave public comment.
Briefing
2. Briefing and discussion on issues related to homelessness.
The Committee received a verbal update from Dianna Grey, Homeless Strategy Office.
Executive Session
3. Discussion regarding the prospect of designated camping areas.
This item was postponed by the Chair.

The minutes were approved at the Public Health Committee meeting on September 8, 2021 on Mayor Adler's motion, Mayor Pro Tem Harper-Madison's second on a 5-0 vote.
