SSOE Group, an architecture and engineering firm with international recognition, marked the opening of its new office in Austin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event took place at 1701 Directors Boulevard this fall. Known for its work in semiconductor, electric vehicle, and battery manufacturing, SSOE aims to enhance its projects in advanced technology and industrial manufacturing through this new location.

Leadership from SSOE’s U.S. and Mexico branches attended the celebration alongside local staff and clients. The gathering served to celebrate the office’s success and acknowledge the firm’s expanding workforce.

Though the Austin office began operations in mid-2023, SSOE has been active in Texas for nearly forty years, completing over 400 projects. Among these are Toyota’s San Antonio assembly plant, TPCO America’s Gregory facility, and Continental’s LEED Gold certified site in New Braunfels.

The Austin office started with almost 50 employees and is expected to become one of SSOE’s largest locations soon. The firm is currently hiring for various positions in Austin.

SSOE Group has built a reputation over its 75-year history as a leader in providing project solutions across multiple industries including semiconductor, automotive, battery, food, chemical, and glass sectors. It also engages in design work within healthcare and general building sectors globally.
