Debbie, a single mother of three, found herself in dire straits when she unexpectedly lost her job due to the sudden closure of her company. “I don’t know how things got so off track,” she reflected. Just months earlier, Debbie had been saving money to rent a new house and her children were excelling in school.

The situation worsened when Debbie’s water heater leaked, causing significant damage and depleting her savings. Forced to take a part-time job, Debbie struggled to cover basic needs such as food and school supplies for her children.

The Salvation Army stepped in to provide crucial support. Through donations, the organization supplied nutritious food and emergency assistance. Additionally, Debbie’s children received essential school supplies.

After several weeks, Debbie secured a full-time job and reported that her children were thriving academically. “Thanks to The Salvation Army, our family is back on track,” she stated.
