Austin recently welcomed a second-hand animal thrift store to benefit animal shelters.

Located in Hudson Bend, Wags Thrift Store offers an array of animal products including clothing, accessories, furniture, decor and more. Owner Holly Hall said the store will provide a coffee shop, community garden and more adoption events, according to Community Impact.

“I would like to bring the community together and make it easier for people to adopt cats and dogs,” Hall said, according to Community Impact.

A nurse by occupation, Hall started Wags inspired by her two favorite things: Animals and thrift shopping. It’s located at 3411B N. RM 620, according to Community Impact.

Since its November opening, Wags has made donations to the Austin Humane Society, per Community Impact.

Community Impact also reports that the thrift shop is in a perfect area that is surrounding by other local consignment shops.

“This is definitely my new favorite thrift store,” Ally Tores said of Wags Thrift Store in a Google review. “So many cute clothing options, all super reasonably priced! The energy in the store was just simply amazing. The owner, Holly, was just an absolute pleasure to be around. She made me some hot cocoa and helped me find everything I needed <3 there is something here for everyone and I highly recommend anyone to come and visit.”
