Quesoff, the annual event celebrating melted cheese, is scheduled for October 13 at Mohawk from noon to 3 pm. Participants including restaurants, top chefs, and home cooks will compete in four categories: Meaty, Spicy, Veggie, and Wild Card. An overall Best in Show will also be awarded by a panel of judges.

The event supports the Central Texas Food Bank, which is recognized as the largest hunger relief organization in the region. The food bank serves 270,000 people each month across 21 counties.
