Public hearing set for March to discuss Travis County community development block grant needs

Travis County will hold a public hearing on March 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom to gather input from residents about community needs and possible projects for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Members of the public can attend in person or register ahead of time to speak remotely. The online registration portal opens at 8:00 p.m. two nights before the meeting and closes at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event. The session will also be accessible online through a link that becomes active by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the hearing via https://traviscotx.civicclerk.com/web/home.aspx.

Residents may present their suggestions for CDBG projects that would benefit unincorporated areas of Travis County as well as Bee Cave, Creedmoor, Lakeway, Lago Vista, Manor, San Leanna, Sunset Valley, Webberville or West Lake Hills. The feedback collected will inform project selection for Program Year 2026 (October 2026–September 2027). Further information is available in both English and Spanish.
