On Monday, July 15, 2024, President Joe Biden is expected to visit Austin. His visit will impact traffic, causing delays in some areas. The City of Austin would like to remind the community to expect traffic delays and potential street closures from morning to evening between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and the LBJ Presidential Library (2313 Red River St.), where he will be commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The City urges residents: “Please be patient if you find yourself within the route, as we understand the inconvenience this may cause.”
