Police seek public’s help in identifying suspects in Austin stabbing incident

On June 29, 2025, at approximately 2:21 a.m., officers from the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to an aggravated assault report on the 500 block of Trinity Street. The incident involved two groups of three males each. Following an altercation on Sixth Street, Group two attacked Group one, resulting in two members of Group one being stabbed. One victim suffered a stab wound to the back, while another was injured in the stomach.

Austin Police Detectives are currently seeking help in identifying the individuals involved in this incident. Photographs of the subjects have been released.

Individuals with information are encouraged to contact APD’s Aggravated Assault unit at 512-974-5245. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
