New Hope Animal Rescue has an animal available for adoption:

Name: Portia
Type: Cat
Breed: Calico
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
Color: Calico
Size: Medium
Status: adoptable
Attributes: Spayed Neutered    House Trained    Declawed    Special Needs    Shots Current
Environment: Children    Dogs    Cats
Portia is a sweet, sensitive, and gentle girl who talks quietly when she wants your attention. Portia doesn’t want any drama with her cat or dog friends and is mainly interested in her person. You can’t help but fall in love with her big green, expressive eyes and her desire to snuggle. She is a balance of independent and super affectionate. She can be cozied up on her own or will want to join in on your activities like folding laundry, making biscuits on the bed and chatting as you fold. She enjoys sleeping for part of the night curled up by her foster mom’s head. She has the most beautiful, smooth and soft coat that makes for great cuddling!

Like many cats, Portia feels unsure in new environments and just needs a week to settle in and feel safe. She is easily bullied by other cats and dogs because she is just too sweet to stand up for herself. Her ideal home is a calm home with calm pets who will not chase or harass her. She deserves to feel safe.
