New Hope Animal Rescue has an animal available for adoption:

Newt

STATS:
Gender: Male
Breed: Lab Mix
Age: 5 months
Est Adult Weight: 20 lbs

DESCRIPTION:
Newt is an energetic, teenage puppy ready to be your best buddy! This happy-go-lucky puppy does great in his crate and is ready for you to teach him out to be a well-mannered companion. He is still young but wants to be the best dog he can be! He is fostered with both cats and dogs and is doing well with his fur friends. We predict he’ll make a great jogging partner or fetching friend for an active adopter. And with his little miniature size, he’ll be the best road trip buddy you can ask for!

Newt was rescued from a very high kill shelter in south Texas. Despite a human failing him along the way, he’s just the sweetest little nugget.
