Austin-Bergstrom International Airport reported a slight increase in passenger traffic for June 2025, with a total of 2,014,198 passengers, marking a 0.06% rise compared to the same month last year. Enplanements for June reached 1,023,218, reflecting a 0.04% increase.
Southwest Airlines saw a decrease in passengers by 0.6%, totaling 826,625. Delta Air Lines experienced a significant rise of 10.6%, with 359,784 passengers. American Airlines had a notable decline of 16.8%, with passenger numbers at 317,499. United Airlines recorded an increase of 6.3%, reaching 228,991 passengers.
Frontier Airlines and Spirit Airlines showed substantial growths of 154.7% and 39.2%, respectively. In contrast, Allegiant Air and JetBlue Airways saw declines of 27.4% and 52.4%. British Airways increased its passenger count by 47.1%.
Cargo traffic at the airport decreased by 14.27% to a total of 21,734,511 lbs., although international cargo rose by 7.27%. Air Transport International carried more cargo than last year with an increase of 14.4%.
For the first half of the year (January to June), passenger traffic totaled over ten million but was down by approximately 4.55% compared to the previous year.
Aircraft operations for general aviation were down by about 9.35% in June and overall operations slightly decreased by about 0.11%.
