The Palmer Events Center in Austin will host four major events in February. The schedule includes the Rodeo Austin Gala, the Austin Marathon Expo, the Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair (GARSEF), and the Austin Home and Garden Show.
The Rodeo Austin Gala is set for February 7 at 6 p.m. The event will feature cocktails, fine dining, auctions, raffles, and live music by Tracy Byrd. Organizers state that “all proceeds support Rodeo Austin’s mission of raising funds for Texas children.”
From February 13 to 14, the venue will hold the 2026 Austin Marathon Expo. Participants can collect race packets and visit vendor booths offering running apparel and nutritional supplements.
GARSEF returns from February 19 to 21. Nearly 3,000 students from grades three through twelve are expected to participate in one of Texas’ largest regional science fairs.
The month concludes with the Austin Home and Garden Show from February 27 to March 1. Attendees can meet vendors providing home improvement services such as pools, remodeling, gardening, outdoor kitchens and grills, patios, turf installation, appliances, security systems, and more.

Located at 900 Barton Springs Rd., within downtown Austin near Butler Park and Lady Bird Lake, the Palmer Events Center is accessible via Barton Springs Road or Riverside Drive by car or public transit. It sits within a three-mile radius of about 11,000 hotel rooms.

Parking information notes that “the Riverside Dr. entrance to the parking garage is often underutilized,” suggesting visitors use this entrance to avoid traffic at Barton Springs Road.
