The Palmer Events Center in Austin will host four major events in February. The schedule includes the Rodeo Austin Gala, the Austin Marathon Expo, the Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair (GARSEF), and the Austin Home and Garden Show.

The Rodeo Austin Gala is set for February 7 at 6 p.m. The event will feature cocktails, fine dining, auctions, raffles, and live music by Tracy Byrd. Organizers state that “all proceeds support Rodeo Austin’s mission of raising funds for Texas children.”

From February 13 to 14, the venue will hold the 2026 Austin Marathon Expo. Participants can collect race packets and visit vendor booths offering running apparel and nutritional supplements.

GARSEF returns from February 19 to 21. Nearly 3,000 students from grades three through twelve are expected to participate in one of Texas’ largest regional science fairs.

The month concludes with the Austin Home and Garden Show from February 27 to March 1. Attendees can meet vendors providing home improvement services such as pools, remodeling, gardening, outdoor kitchens and grills, patios, turf installation, appliances, security systems, and more.

A monthly event calendar is available on the Palmer Events Center website at www.palmereventscenter.com.

Located at 900 Barton Springs Rd., within downtown Austin near Butler Park and Lady Bird Lake, the Palmer Events Center is accessible via Barton Springs Road or Riverside Drive by car or public transit. It sits within a three-mile radius of about 11,000 hotel rooms.

Derick Hackett serves as Acting Public Information and Marketing Manager for the facility.

Parking information notes that “the Riverside Dr. entrance to the parking garage is often underutilized,” suggesting visitors use this entrance to avoid traffic at Barton Springs Road.

The Palmer Events Center supports local events while contributing to economic growth in Austin according to its official website. The facility features over 70,000 square feet of exhibit space along with meeting rooms and a grand ballroom according to its official site. As a City of Austin-owned property managed by the Austin Convention Center Department according to its official site, it provides adaptable spaces for conventions, trade shows, banquets and community gatherings according to its official site. The center also incorporates sustainable practices into its operations according to its official site.
