The Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas, is set to host five events throughout November. The schedule includes the Settlement Club Garage and Estate Sale, the Government Innovation Showcase, A Christmas Affair, the City-Wide Vintage Sale, and the Big Ole Queer Market.

The Settlement Club Garage and Estate Sale will begin with a preview party on November 5, followed by three days of shopping from November 7 to 9. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Settlement Home for Children, which serves individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse, and neglect.

On November 12, the Public Sector Network will present the Government Innovation Showcase at the venue. This event aims to bring together public sector leaders from across Texas to share innovative ideas and highlight new projects.

A Christmas Affair, organized by the Junior League of Austin, returns from November 19 to 25. The event features over 200 vendors offering gifts, clothing, home décor, jewelry, and more. According to organizers: “A Christmas Affair is the Junior League of Austin’s largest fundraiser, funding the organization’s mission, programs, and outreach, allowing it to continue empowering women in the community.”

Shoppers can visit the City-Wide Vintage Sale on November 29 and 30. The sale brings together dozens of vintage vendors under one roof.

Also taking place on November 29 and 30 is the Big Ole Queer Market. This free holiday expo features LGBTQIA+ artists and small businesses and is open to all ages.

The Palmer Events Center provides access via Barton Springs Road or Riverside Drive by car or public transportation. Organizers recommend using the Riverside Drive entrance to avoid traffic at Barton Springs Road. The center is located at 900 Barton Springs Rd., within three miles of approximately 11,000 hotel rooms.
