There are several challenges that Guadalupe will face in the coming years, according to a recent message from the General Manager. A major issue highlighted is the impact of Project Connect’s Orange Line on businesses and residents in the North University area, particularly those located along Guadalupe.

The project is expected to bring significant long-term public benefits to the city and its residents. However, there are concerns about how it might affect operations at a grocery store situated in this location.

“This transformative project will undoubtedly provide significant, long-term public benefit to our city and its residents,” reads the statement. “However, it may also limit our ability to effectively operate a grocery store at our present location.”
