Death at the Cabaret Vol 2: The Black Widow Collective is scheduled for September 3, 2025. The event is described as a 90-minute cabaret-infused murder mystery play that includes pole dancing, aerials, and burlesque.

The story centers on the Kiss Kiss Cabaret, which returns with a darker and more intense theme. According to the synopsis, “The Kiss Kiss Cabaret is back in the spotlight: darker, deadlier, and more intoxicating than ever. When the club’s ambitious emcee plots to seize power, owner Stanley Flambeaux fears for his life and hires The Detective to uncover the truth.”

The narrative continues with a series of mysterious deaths in the city linked to the Black Widow Collective’s efforts to overthrow its rulers. Hedda Lauper leads this group after previously being scapegoated and now seeks revenge. “As The Detective unravels the plot, one question remains: will Stanley escape their grip, or become the final act?”

This production is presented as a venue rental event by an independent organization not affiliated with the Long Center for Performing Arts. It is noted that “Any views or opinions expressed in this event or by the event organizers do not necessarily reflect the views, positions, or values of the Long Center.”

The Long Center states its commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all involved. “The Long Center is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment and will not tolerate demeaning, harassing, or discriminatory conduct from, or directed toward, patrons, artists, rental clients, staff, or volunteers.”
