BookPeople, in collaboration with Austin Pets Alive!, is organizing a “Meowlloween” Cat Adoption Drive. The event, which will include storytimes and cat costume contests, is set to take place on the second floor of BookPeople.
The adoption drive will begin at 12:00 P.M. and run for three hours. Throughout the event, there will be several storytime breaks and demonstrations on cat care. Attendees can enjoy two cat costume contests scheduled for 12:15 P.M. and 1:30 P.M., where adoptable cats will showcase their Halloween costumes.

It should be noted that all guidelines are subject to change, and BookPeople retains the right to cancel or postpone the event if necessary.
