Manor Independent School District is seeking input from its community following the recent bond election. The district is inviting parents, staff, students, residents, business owners, and community partners to participate in virtual focus groups and a community survey.

The district will hold a series of virtual focus groups in late February to collect detailed feedback from various segments of the community. According to Manor ISD, these small-group discussions are designed to allow participants to share their thoughts, concerns, and priorities directly with district representatives.

Those interested in joining a focus group are asked to fill out an interest form by February 3. “Submitting the form indicates interest but does not guarantee placement in a focus group,” the district stated. Selected participants will be notified during the week of February 9 with further scheduling information. Multiple session times will be offered to fit different schedules.

In addition to the focus groups, Manor ISD has launched a community survey for those unable to attend the sessions. The survey seeks feedback on topics such as perspectives on the recent bond election, future investment priorities, communication preferences, and suggestions for building trust and transparency within the district. The deadline for completing the survey is also February 3.

“Feedback from both the focus groups and the community survey will be reviewed together to help inform future planning and decision-making,” according to Manor ISD. The district plans to share summary themes with both its Board of Trustees and the broader community as part of ongoing efforts toward transparency and engagement.
