Dr. Kendra Doyle has been appointed as the new Director of Academics and Multilingual Services for Manor Independent School District (ISD). Dr. Doyle brings over two decades of experience in education to her new role.

Throughout her career, Dr. Doyle has held various positions, including classroom teacher, instructional specialist, curriculum coordinator, and most recently, executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for San Antonio ISD. She served in this capacity for seven years.

In her previous role, Dr. Doyle oversaw the daily operations of several departments, developed strategies to enhance performance, and led initiatives to cultivate leadership within the school system. Her responsibilities included direct supervision of academic departments such as Reading/ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Math across all grade levels.

“I believe every child deserves access to rigorous, culturally sustaining instruction that affirms their identity and unlocks their full academic potential,” Dr. Doyle stated. “My work has consistently centered on leading with an equity lens, investing in educators, and building systems that support meaningful learning. I’m excited to continue that work in Manor ISD as part of a dynamic leadership team.”

Dr. Doyle earned both her Doctorate in School Improvement and her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University.
