Manor Independent School District announced on March 14 that it will host the Manor ISD Robotics Challenge 2026 at the Manor High School Complex on March 28 and 29, in partnership with FIRST in Texas. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
The robotics challenge aims to showcase student innovation, engineering, and programming skills through competitive matches between student-built robots. Teams from Manor High School and Manor New Tech High School will participate, giving local students an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities while community members cheer them on.
According to the district, “Events like the Manor ISD Robotics Challenge highlight the incredible talent of our students and the district’s commitment to preparing learners for the future.”
The competition will begin with an opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, followed by matches until 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, matches start at 8:00 a.m., concluding with an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m.
Manor Independent School District serves more than 10,000 students across 15 campuses according to the official website.
