Asbestosis, a local hardcore punk band based in Georgetown, TX, began their journey by introducing the locals to hardcore punk in 2023. The band released their first single in January 2024 and followed up with their first EP in March. Known for their energetic performances, Asbestosis has played frequently across Texas and has gained recognition in the Austin area.

The band is set to release their second EP on September 22nd. With the assistance of local independent record label “Doom Records,” the new release will be available on CD and distributed to record stores throughout Texas.
