IKEA U.S. has launched its first cross-brand retail experience by partnering with Best Buy in select Texas and Florida stores. The initiative aims to make IKEA products and services more accessible and affordable for customers.

On November 5, 2025, the IKEA South Austin at Best Buy opened a Plan and order point at 4970 W Highway 290, Austin, TX 78735. This collaboration allows IKEA to offer kitchen planning services to a wider audience and enables customers to integrate Best Buy appliances into their IKEA kitchens.

The shop-in-shop is staffed by IKEA employees who assist customers in designing their spaces. Shoppers can also browse appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, dishwashers, and washer-dryers. The 1,000-square-foot showroom features kitchen and laundry room displays.

According to the companies, this shared retail model demonstrates their commitment to providing home furnishing solutions and modern appliances in one location. Customers design their living spaces with help from an IKEA associate and have the furnishings shipped directly to their homes.
