Herb Alpert and his new Tijuana Brass band are scheduled to perform on August 4, 2025. The concert will feature Alpert alongside six musicians, playing well-known songs from the Tijuana Brass catalog.
The event coincides with the 60th anniversary of the album “Whipped Cream & Other Delights.” The setlist is expected to include tracks from that album as well as other hits such as “The Lonely Bull,” “Spanish Flea,” “Taste of Honey,” “Mexican Shuffle,” “Tijuana Taxi,” “This Guy’s In Love With You,” “What Now My Love,” “Zorba the Greek,” “Ladyfingers,” and “Rise.”
During the 90-minute show, Alpert plans to interact with the audience by answering questions about his career, A&M Records, and artists he has collaborated with over more than six decades in music. These artists include Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66, The Carpenters, and Burt Bacharach.
A large video screen will accompany the performance, displaying photos, videos, artwork, and memorabilia from Alpert’s career.
