Heather Little, a well-regarded songwriter known for her authentic and personal storytelling, will perform live on October 10, 2024. Little’s music is influenced by artists like Rickie Lee Jones and has been compared to the styles of Patty Griffin and Lori McKenna. Her songwriting approach resembles that of Gretchen Peters and Kris Kristofferson.
Little’s songs have been recorded by notable country music artists, yet her performances are recognized for their vulnerability and accessibility. She has received two BMI awards for her songwriting achievements.
In 2013, Little released her debut album “Wings Like These,” produced by Greg Hunt. More recently, in 2022, she released a live album recorded at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston, with production by Joel Mora.
Her upcoming album “By Now” is set to release on April 19, 2024. Produced by Brian Brinkerhoff and Frank Swart, the album includes contributions from prominent figures in the folk, bluegrass, and country music scenes.
