HAAM has announced changes to its Board of Directors for 2025, as it continues its mission to provide affordable healthcare access to Austin’s music community. The organization expressed gratitude towards departing board members Olga Campos Benz and Keith Donahoe for their contributions.

Olga Campos Benz, a notable Texas anchor/reporter and media consultant, served on the board since 2011. Her roles included Executive Committee member from 2013-2016, Secretary in 2016, Communications Committee Chair from 2017-2020, and Governance Chair in 2023. “Thank you, Olga, for your thirteen years of service on our board!” HAAM stated.

Keith Donahoe joined the board in 2012 and played a significant role in HAAM’s financial success. He held positions such as Vice Chair in 2016, Chair from 2017-2018, Governance Chair in 2016, Past Chair & Exec Committee from 2019-2022, Strategic Planning Chair from 2019-2020, and Capital Campaign Committee member from 2022-2023. “We wish Keith all the best in his new role!” HAAM said regarding his appointment as President of Southside Bank / Southside Bancshares Inc.

Newly appointed board members include R. Bruce Callahan and Denise Grode. Callahan is Vice Chairman Emeritus at NFP with extensive experience in financial services and philanthropy. His career highlights include founding PartnersFinancial Charitable Foundation and involvement with UT Austin Technology Incubator.

Denise Grode serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Cirrus Logic with over two decades of HR leadership experience across various companies. She is recognized for her strategic human capital solutions and community engagement efforts.

John Trube also joins the board bringing his expertise as Principal at Trube Corporation with a background in real estate development and entertainment projects like Buds Recording Services.

These new additions are expected to bring diverse perspectives that will enhance HAAM’s ability to support Austin’s musicians further into the future.
