A Texas-based on-demand delivery app announced a job opening on Thursday (April 21) that appeals to lovers of a classic staple of Mexican cuisine.

According to a press release, Favor posted a vacancy for a position the company calls “Chief Taco Officer” (CTO).

Favor said the chosen candidate will be paid $10,000 to travel the entire Lone Star State in search of the best tacos.

App CEO Jag Bath said the company receives a lot of delivery requests for tacos.

“Tacos are one of the top favored foods across all of the cities we serve throughout Texas,” Bath said in the release. “The history and culture behind one of the most iconic foods in the Lone Star State vary from city to city, and we’re excited for our new Chief Taco Officer to discover some of the best and most authentic tacos out there.”

According to Favor, the new CTO will document their experiences aside from taste-testing tacos.

The company will provide food, lodging and transportation in each city. The CTO will also enjoy free Favor services for up to a year.

They’ll be working throughout the summer, per the release.

Favor prefers Texas residents who are 21 years old or older.

To apply, interested individuals must send the company a short video that shows why they’re the perfect fit for the position, as well as complete a short form at https://www.favordelivery.com/cto/, the release said.

Favor is accepting submissions through 11:59 p.m. Central Time on May 12.
