Cloud 9, a band composed entirely of employees from Epicor, is returning to the Corporate Battle of the Bands competition in 2024. The band previously won the ‘Band of the Year’ award in 2019. Members of Cloud 9 come from various departments within Epicor, including Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounting, and even have representation from the Executive Suite.

Epicor has expressed its support for HAAM’s mission to provide affordable healthcare to Austin’s low-income musicians. “Epicor believes in HAAM’s critical mission for providing affordable healthcare for greater Austin’s low-income, working musicians and are honored to be a part of this great event for such an important cause.”

The band members include David Ramirez on bass from Customer Support; Rich Murr on guitar as Chief Customer Officer; Luke Jaroszewski on guitar from Solution Sales; Dave Bailey on guitar from Automotive; David Richards on drums from Business Development; Emily Howard and Sergio Gonzalez Parroquin as lead vocalists from Accounting/Tax and IT respectively; and Kelly Greenwalt on backup vocals from Marketing.

The 2024 Corporate Battle of the Bands will take place on Wednesday, June 5th. The event allows professionals to showcase their musical talents while supporting a good cause. Competing bands perform in front of celebrity and music industry judges who decide winners for four awards.
