Austin-Bergstrom International Airport announced that Delta Air Lines will introduce three new nonstop routes starting this fall. The airline will also enhance service on two existing routes, San Francisco and Indianapolis, offering more travel options for Central Texas customers.
The new routes include Denver, Columbus, and Kansas City. Service to Denver will begin on November 9, 2025, with twice-daily flights operated by Delta Connection partner SkyWest. Flights to Columbus and Kansas City will start on June 7, 2026. Columbus will have daily service while Kansas City will have twice-daily flights, both operated by SkyWest.
These flights will use Embraer 175 aircraft, featuring Delta First, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main classes. The aircraft promises a quieter ride with modern interiors and larger windows.
Ghizlane Badawi, CEO of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, expressed gratitude for the partnership with Delta: “This is another exciting investment in our community from Delta.” Paul Baldoni, Senior Vice President of Network Planning at Delta Air Lines, said that the new routes build on a strong foundation in Austin: “It’s another step in delivering the network, convenience and premium experience that sets Delta apart as Austin’s leading global carrier.”
