Darci Carlson, a renowned country music artist, is set to perform at Saxon. Known for her authentic country sound, Carlson delivers performances that include both original songs and classic favorites. Her style has been described as “a no-nonsense, throwback, true country affair,” distinct from more contemporary or pop-infused interpretations of the genre.

Carlson’s songwriting draws from personal experiences and adventures, with a voice that critics say is reminiscent of well-known artists like Bonnie Raitt and Tammy Wynette. Her dedication to traditional Roots-Americana music has earned her multiple nominations and the title of 2017 Outlaw Female of The Year at Honky Tonk Hero Dale Watson’s Ameripolitan Music Awards.

“If there was ever a personification of the ladies canonized in Hank Williams Jr.’s self-penned tune ‘Outlaw Women’ from Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound, it would be Darci Carlson,” notes Saving Country Music.

Her career includes performances at diverse venues ranging from dive bars to large festivals. She has shared stages with prominent acts such as Shooter Jennings, Clint Black, and Nikki Lane. Currently residing in Boise, Idaho, Carlson is supported by sponsors including Fender Guitars and Monster Energy Drink. She is also working on new music with plans to release singles throughout 2021.
