Meeting called to order at 11:31 a.m.

Committee Members Present:

1. Council Member Kathie Tovo

2. Council Member Vanessa Fuentes – off the dais

Public Communication: General

Speakers signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will each be allowed three minutes to address their concerns regarding items not posted on the agenda (limit of 10 speakers).

None.

Discussion and Possible Action

1. Discussion and possible action regarding the selection of the City’s appointee to the Sobering Center Local Government Corporation Board of Directors. This item was taken up in Executive Session.

Executive Session

2. Discussion and possible action regarding the selection of members to the Sobering Center Local Government Corporation Board of Directors. Conducted.

3. Following interviews which were conducted in executive session, Mayor Adler moved to approve the appointment of Anwar Sophy, to the Sobering Center Local Government Corporation Board of Directors. Seconded by Council Member Kathie Tovo. Passed on a 4-0 vote with Council Member Vanessa Fuentes off the dais.
