Chair Tovo called the committee meeting to order at 9:34 a.m.

Approval of Minutes

1. Approve the minutes of the Public Health Committee meeting on May 11 and May 12, 2022.

The minutes of the May 11 and May 12, 2022 Public Health Committee meeting were approved on Mayor Adler’s motion, and Council Member Fuentes’ second, on a 4-0 vote, with Council Member Harper-Madison off the dais.

Briefing regarding harm reduction strategies to address the opioid overdose crisis and an update on City actions since the passage of Resolution No. 20180524-038 The Committee received a briefing regarding harm reduction strategies to address the opioid overdose crisis ad updates on the City’s action related to the resolution from Paulette Soltani, Director of Organizing, and Cate Graziani, Executive Director, Texas Harm Reduction Alliance Chief.
