1. Approve the minutes of the Public Health Committee meeting of June 4, 2025.
The minutes of the June 4 meetings were approved on Council Member Velásquez’s motion, and Council Member Duchen’s second with no objection, on a 4-0 vote.
Discussion and Possible Action
2. Discussion and possible action regarding the appointment of a member to the Sobering Center Local Government Corporation Board of Directors.
Briefings
3. Update on the City’s Marshalling Yard, which provides temporary shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness, by the Homeless Strategy Office.
The Committee received a briefing from Greg McCormack, Program Manager of the Homeless Strategy Office.
4. Briefing Update on the Sobering Center’s planned facility expansion.
The Committee received a briefing from Laura LeBlanc, CEO of the Sobering Center
