The Board of Directors of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) was convened via Videoconference. The following were the AHFC items considered by the Austin Housing Finance Corporation’s Board of Directors.

President Adler called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m. Director Casar was off the dais. Vice President Harper-Madison appeared via videoconference.

CONSENT AGENDA

AHFC1. Approve the meeting minutes of the September 30, 2021 board meeting of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation.

The motion to approve the meeting minutes of the September 30, 2021 board meeting was approved on Director Pool’s motion, Director Kelly’s second on a 10-0 vote. Director Casar was off the dais.

AHFC2. Approve a resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Austin Housing Finance Corporation Grant Operating Budget (20210811-AHFC002) in the amount of $23,000,000 for a total amended budget amount not to exceed $33,646,231.

Resolution No. 20211021-AHFC002 was approved on consent on Director Pool’s motion, Director Kelly’s second on a 10-0 vote. Director Casar was off the dais.

AHFC3. Authorize the negotiation and execution of an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Service Agreement with the Austin Housing Finance Corporation to increase funding for the Austin Transit Partnership Grant Fund in the amount of $23,000,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $130,989,134.

This item was withdrawn.

AHFC4. Authorize negotiation and execution of all documents and instruments necessary or desirable to acquire approximately 18.48 acres located at or near 2201 Grove Boulevard for affordable housing purposes, in an amount not to exceed $3,600,000, including closing costs (District 3). District(s) Affected: District 3.

The motion authorizing the negotiation and execution of all documents and instruments necessary or desirable to acquire approximately 18.48 acres was approved on consent on Director Pool’s motion, Director Kelly’s second on a 10-0 vote. Director Casar was off the dais.

AHFC5. Authorize negotiation and execution of all documents and instruments necessary or desirable to acquire approximately 2.77 acres located at or near 4003 Convict Hill Road for affordable housing purposes, in an amount not to exceed $1,750,000, including closing costs (District 8). District(s) Affected: District 8.

The motion authorizing the negotiation and execution of all documents and instruments necessary or desirable to acquire approximately 2.77 acres was approved on consent on Director Pool’s motion, Director Kelly’s second on a 10-0 vote. Director Casar was off the dais.

AHFC6. Authorize negotiation and execution of an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Service Agreement with the City of Austin (20210902-AHFC007) to increase funding for the Austin Transit Partnership Grant Fund in the amount of $23,000,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $130,989,134.
