The Board of Directors of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) was convened via Videoconference. The following were the AHFC items considered by the Austin Housing Finance Corporation’s Board of Directors.

President Adler called the meeting to order at 12:12 p.m. Director Kelly was off the dais. President Adler recessed the meeting at 12:17 p.m. without objection.

CONSENT AGENDA

AHFC1. Approve the meeting minutes of the June 3, 2021 board meeting of the Austin Housing Finance Corporation.

The motion approving the minutes for the June 3, 2021 board meeting was approved on consent on Director Renteria’s motion, Director Ellis’ second on an 11-0 vote.

AHFC2. Approve a payment of $3,200,000 to Milestone Community Builders for the construction of 12 affordable ownership units within the Grove Planned Unit Development for households whose incomes are 80% or below the median family income. District(s) Affected: District 10.

The motion approving a payment of $3,200,000 to Milestone Community Builders meeting was approved on consent on Director Renteria’s motion, Director Ellis’ second on an 11-0 vote.

AHFC3. Authorize the execution of a ground lease between the Austin Housing Finance Corporation and Espero Austin at Rutland, LP, or an affiliated entity, for real property located at 1934 Rutland Drive, Austin, Texas 78758, for an affordable multi-family housing development to be known as Espero Austin at Rutland Apartments. District(s) Affected: District 4.

The motion authorizing the execution of a ground lease between the Austin Housing Finance Corporation and Espero Austin at Rutland, LP was approved on consent on Director Renteria’s motion, Director Ellis’ second on an 11-0 vote.

President Adler adjourned the meeting at 3:14 p.m. without objection.
