1. Approve the minutes of the special called Climate, Water, Environment, and Parks Committee meeting of July 30, 2025.
The minutes of the July 3, 2025 meetings were approved on Council Member Duchen’s motion, and Council Member Ellis’ second with no objection, on a 4-0 vote.
Briefings
1. Briefing on Transfer Facility.
The Committee received a briefing from Richard McHale, Director of Austin Resource Recovery.
2. Briefing update on Rain to River (R2R).
The Committee received a briefing from Jorge Morales, Director; Erin Wood, Environmental Conservation Program Manager and Sari Albornoz, Community Engagement Planner of Watershed Protection Department.

5. On-Demand Collection Program 6-Month Update memo dated August 21, 2025
The Committee received a briefing by memorandum from Amy Slagle, Assistant Director of Austin Recourse Recovery.
